DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily inspection on all DG site installations, mobile generators and tower lights (Kubotas) – reporting to the Workshop manager
- Carry out routine and periodic service and maintenance on all DG installations, mobile generators and tower lights.
- Carry out preventive maintenance on all DG sets and tower lights to ensure all are in good operating condition.
- Troubleshooting and repairs on DG sets.
- Follow up on AMS System Job card opening and Closing upon job completion
- To follow up on pending spares under procurement for service, preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- Assist workshop management with strategic stock planning for critical and preventive maintenance parts.
- Other assigned duties in line with company goals and departmental objectives
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 2 years of Working experience in Heavy plant workshop/ Generator maintenance
- Must be fluent in English and Swahili.
